Board your flight for the first segment of your tour of Mystical Himalayan Kingdoms.

DAY 02:

EN ROUTE :

NEPAL

DAY 03:

ARRIVE KATHMANDU :

Arrive at the capital Kingdom of Nepal. Day at leisure.

DAY 04:

PATAN & KATHMANDU TOURS :

Tour Patan with its many palaces, temples and Tibetan refugee camp to see deft hands weaving carpets and Tibetan handicrafts. Kathmandu’s tour includes Durbar Square, temple of the Living Goddess Kumari, Bodhnath home to the largest Buddhist stupa in the world and Pashupatinath, most sacred Lord Shiva's shrine in Nepal.

DAY 05:

BADGAON EXCURSION :

Drive through the terraced rice fields to the primitive city of Bhadgaon also known as Bhaktapur 'City of Devotees'. Visit Durbar Square, Big Bell, Bell of the Barking Dogs, Lion Gate, Picture Gallery and Golden Gate, opening to the courtyard to the Palace of 55 Windows.

DAY 06:

KATHMANDU/POKHARA :

The scenic valley of Pokhara is an enormous sunlit playground covered by green-forested hills, waterfalls and terraced fields. Its three lakes Phew, Begnas and Rupa further enhance the beauty of the valley. Pokhara also offers excellent views of Dhaulagiri, Himalchuli, the five peaks of Annapurna and Machapuchare. Spend two nights in the beautiful city.

DAY 07:

POKHARA TOURING :

Tour the city and a boat ride on Lake Phewa.

Day 08 to 11:

Choice of option A or B :

OPTION A :
Take a 4-day trek to visit the remote villages of Gurungs and Chettris. The first night stop Dhampus offers great views of Annapurna range. Trek through the villages, offering ample opportunities to take pictures, get acquainted with village life, meet school children, and watch villagers working in the terraced fields. Overnight stops are at Langdrung & Ghandrung villages, home to world famous gorkha soldiers. Trek includes all camping equipment, trekking staff (guides, cook, kitchen helpers, porters), and all meals during the trek.

OPTION B :
CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
: Travel to Asia's richest and spectacular wildlife sanctuary, home to the great one horned rhinoceros, several species of deer, sloth beer, wild boar, fresh water dolphin, leopard, marsh mugger, gharial crocodiles, over 450 species of birds and the elusive, nocturnal Royal Bengal Tiger. Excellent game viewing facilities with accommodations at treetop lodges, bungalows, long houses, and tented camps. Activities at most lodges include nature walk, game viewing on elephant back, land rover, boat trips, jungle treks, bird watching excursions, wildlife viewing and photography from machans (blinds). All meals and game drives are included.

DAY 12:

CHITWAN OR POKHARA/KATHMANDU :

Travel to Kathmandu where the rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 13:

DEPART KATHMANDU :

Board your flight home with fond memories, sights and sounds of Nepal.

DAY 14: ARRIVE AT HOME :
