Arrive in Istanbul a huge metropolis
connecting continents, cultures, religions and one of the
greatest business and cultural center of the region. Meeting
assistance by A Classic Tours Collection representative and
transfer to Hotel.

ISTANBUL/ ANKARA -
CAPPADOCIA :
In the morning transfer to the airport
for the flight to Ankara. the capital of Turkey and the
country's second largest city after Istanbul. It was formerly
known as Angora or Engürü, and in Roman times as Ancyra, and
in classical and Hellenistic periods as Άγκυρα Ánkyra. Proceed
on a city sightseeing tour visiting Anatolian Civilizations
(Hittite) Museum and Mausoleum of Ataturk. After Lunch in
Ankara travel overland to Cappadocia. The unique and yet the
strange rock formations and subterranean dwellings of
Cappadocia provide unforgettable sets of experiences, memories
and photographs.

CAPPADOCIA :
For millions of years, the mighty
volcanoes of the Central Anatolian Plateau erupted and spewed
their contents across the land that would become the cradle of
civilization. The interesting rock formations, known as "fairy
chimneys", have been formed as the result of the erosion of
the tufa layer, sculpted by wind and flood water, running down
on the slopes of the valleys. Visit the natural citadel of
Uchisar, Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag Valley, and
Underground City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu. (BLD).

CAPPADOCIA / KONYA /
PAMUKKALE :
Early Morning depart for Pamukkale. En
route stop at Konya, the city famous far beyond the borders of
Turkey. Visit the most important in Konya is Mevlana’s
Mausoleum, the mystic Sufi poet and the founder of the
Whirling Dervish order. Also visit Sultanhani Caravanserai
before continuing to Pamukkale, famous not only for the
entrancing beauty of its unique geological formations but also
for its historical remains.

PAMUKKALE / HIERAPOLIS/
APHRODISIAS / KUSADASI :
After breakfast visit the ancient city
of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis (graveyard)
of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium
cliffs. Drive to Aphrodisias. After lunch visit the
Greco-Roman settlement that is remarkably well preserved. The
ancient city is dedicated to the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.
Drive to Kusadasi, dinner and overnight at
(BLD).

KUSADASI / SELCUK/ EPHESUS /
IZMIR :
After breakfast at the hotel drive to
Selcuk and visit the house of Virgin Mary. Continue to
Ephesus, the Roman capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of
Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent
library, Agora and the fantastic Greco-roman theatre. After
lunch drive to Izmir, the pearl of the Aegean, a fascinating
city whose history begins in the mists of legend. This modern
city still retains traces of its ancient, Ottoman and
Levantine past. (BLD).

IZMIR :
Full day excursion to Sardis. The ruins
of ancient Gymnasium, the Synagogue from Roman period and
Temple of Artemis in Sardis, Muradiye Mosque. Overnite
at Hotel (BLD).

| DAY 9: Sat |
IZMIR :
Full day excursion to Priene, Miletus
and Dydima. Visit Temple of Apollo in Dydima; the great
theatre, Roman Baths and the agora in Miletus; and the
theatre, Temple of Athena and Prytaneion in Priene. Overnite
at Hotel (BLD).

IZMIR / BERGAMA/ TROY / CANAKKALE
:
In the morning visit Bergama (ancient
Pergamon). Parchment was invented here. This was the hometown
of Galen, renowned doctor and surgeon and site of his temple
devoted to healing, the Asclepion. The library once held
200,000 books. In the afternoon drive to Troy, the immortal
city of the legendary Helen of Troy and Trojan Horse, which
was destroyed and rebuilt nine times.

CANAKKALE / ISTANBUL
:
In the morning drive to Istanbul by
crossing the Dardanelles Strait. Lunch en route. Arrival to
Istanbul and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at
leisure. (BL).

ISTANBUL TOURING
:
Full day sightseeing starting with a
drive to the Asian side via Bosphorus Bridge to visit
Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill for a panoramic view of
Istanbul. In the afternoon cruise along the shores of
Bosphorus by regular ferry. Overnight at hotel.

CITY & OTTOMAN ART TOUR
:
Morning Old City Tour. Visit : Blue
Mosque, St. Sophia Museum, Hippodrome and Grand Covered
Bazaar. Afternoon take the Ottoman Art Tour visiting Topkapi
Palace Museum (excluding Harem section) and Suleymaniye
Mosque. Overnite at Hotel.
