BANGKOK TOURING
This morning, visit the Grand Palace, Bangkok’s most famous landmark and the kings’ former residence. Several buildings are located within the complex. You will see the Reception Palace, Funeral Palace, Throne Hall and the beautiful, revered Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This afternoon will be spent at leisure. HOTEL (B)

DAY 6: |
BANGKOK/CHIANG MAI
Transfers to airport and take a short flight to Chinag Mai late this morning. King Mengrai founded the city of Chiang Mai (meaning "new city") in 1296 succeeding Chiang Rai as capital of the Lanna kingdom. To protect it from Burma, the city was surrounded by a moat and a defensive wall. With the decline in power of the Lannathai kingdom, the city lost importance and often was occupied either by the Burmese or Thais from Ayutthaya. Chiang Mai rose in cultural, trading and economic importance to its current status as the unofficial capital of northern Thailand, second only in national importance to Bangkok. Transfer to Hotel. After breakfast, visit an Elephant Farm, Orchid Farm and a Butterfly Conservatory. HOTEL

CHIANG MAI/BANGKOK/HUA HIN or PHUKET or PATTAYA
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly back to Bangkok. Travel overland in chauffeur driven car/ van to Hua Hin or Phuket or Pattaya Beach. Pick your choice of one for beach holiday. Rest of the day will be spent at leisure. HOTEL (B)
