Day 01: |
Arrive Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city
situated on the banks of the Tuul
River, surrounded by majestic mountains.
The combination of these pine-clad mountains, wide boulevards,
vast public squares and parks emits a spacious feeling. Meeting,
assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure. Tonight, attend a Welcome
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Ulaanbaatar/Sergelen Sun -
Folklore Chinggis Khan Cavalry Show
After breakfast drive through the countryside
to Hondii Valley. Attend a Folklore
and a Chinngis Khan Cavalry Shows.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

03: |
Wild Horses National Park
After breakfast, travel to
Khustain Nuruu Nature Reserve,
established in 1993 to preserve
Mongolia's wild Takhi horses and the steppe environment
where they live. The Takhi is probably the most recognized and
successful symbol of Mongolia's diverse and unique wildlife. It
is also known as Przewalski's horse
(named after the Pole who first took an interest in them),
the Takhi
once roamed the countryside in herds. In the 1960s, they almost
became extinct because of poachers. In the early 1990s, with
assistance from international environmental groups,
many Takhi were re-introduced into
specially protected areas of Khustain Nuruu and in the
south Gobi. In addition to the
Takhi, you may also see
maral (Asiatic red deer), steppe gazelle, deer, boar, manul wild
cat, wolf and lynx. Continue to
Mongol Els sand dunes. Dinner and
overnight stay at the camp.

| Day 04: |
Khara Khorum
Travel to Mongolia''s ancient capital,
Kharakhorum, Chinggis Khaan'’s fabled city, founded in 1220 in
the Orkhon Valley, at the crossroads of
the Silk Road. It was from here that the
Mongol Empire governed until
Khubilai Khaan relocated to Beijing.
Visit the symbolic ruins of Kharakhorum,
Monumental Walls and the 108 stupas that
surround the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia,
Erdene Zuu Monastery, built
in 1586. In 1792, housing 62 temples and 10,000 lamas,
Turtles carved from the stone marked the boundaries of the
complex. Explore the Ancient Graves
in the Orkhon River basin. Tonight, enjoy a
Mongolian BBQ Dinner before retiring to
your Ger camp.

05: |
Khara Khorum/Ulaambaatar
After breakfast, full day drive to
Ulaanbaatar including a picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

| Day 06: |
Crafts Villages Excursion
After breakfast, travel to
Tonikuk King’s Monument to see the rock
Inscription dating back to the 7th century and learn about the
Turkish tribe’s destiny. Proceed to
Chinggis Khan’s Giant Statue, continuing
on to the 13th century Complex Area.
Visit the Craftsmen’s Gers,
Library and Education Gers and
Nomad Gers, Enjoy a traditional
Mongolian lunch. Spend your afternoon taking pictures of local
people, indulging in a camel ride before returning to
Ulaanbaatar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

07: |
Ulaanbaatar City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a city tour,
includes the Gandantegchilen
Monastery, present day Buddhist center
housing the larggest standing Statue of the God of compassion.
Next, visit the Natural History
Museum housing the petrified
Dinosaur skeletons, rare animals, wild camel, wild sheep, wild
goat etc. After lunch at a local
restaurant, proceed to the
Friendship Monument on Zaisan Hill,
where the panoramic view of
Ulaanbaatar and its surrounding area is spectacular.
Rest of the day is free for last minute shopping. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.

Depart Mongolia
After breakfast and a relaxing morning,
transfer to the airport to board your flight departing for the
States.
