"Longest duration total solar eclipse of our lifetime"
A Journey along the Legendary
Trade Route through China and Tibet |
The name “Silk
Road,” introduced to the traveler’s vocabulary by the
Swedish explorer Sven Hedin, conjures up images of
desert caravans, lush oases, snow-capped mountains, and
colorful markets where exotic goods change hands amongst
exotic languages. Where many destinations promise
enchantment and adventure, travel on the Silk Road
through China is one of the few that really delivers.
'Shangri La', 'the Rooftop of the World' - locked away
in its Himalayan fortress, offers fabulous monastery
sights, breathtaking high-altitude treks, stunning views
of the world's highest mountains & Tibetan’s are one of
the most likeable peoples you'll ever meet. |
